What happens to my phone after I send it in?

Once a working phone is received by one of the mobile recyclers listed on our site, they are often sent for reuse in markets abroad, such as China, Africa, or India. Alternatively, they are refurbished and sold in the UK.

If the phone received is broken and unable to be reused, it is deemed to be beyond economical repair and is then disposed of in an environmentally friendly way – rest assured your phone won’t end up in a landfill site.
